About Stoic Soul Counselling

My Story

I came to this work through lived experience and years of supporting people through grief, trauma, anxiety, and major life transitions.

Many of us learn how to function, push through, and hold things together — not because we’re coping well, but because we have to. Over time, this kind of survival can leave us disconnected from ourselves.

Counselling, for me, is about offering a calm, grounded space where the focus shifts from surviving to healing.

My Mission

My mission is to offer a grounded, emotionally safe space where adults and youth can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and heal in ways that feel sustainable and real.

I believe healing doesn’t come from urgency or pressure, but from presence, regulation, and being met with care. Strength, to me, often shows up quietly — in stillness, honesty, and self-connection.

My Approach

My approach is trauma-informed, human-centred, and grounded in nervous system awareness.

I integrate counselling with mindfulness, somatic awareness, and regulation-focused practices to support both insight and felt safety. We work collaboratively, at your pace, with no pressure to share more than feels right.

I hold a deep respect for your story, your nervous system, and your timing.

Many of the people I support are highly capable on the outside, yet feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or emotionally exhausted beneath the surface. I am especially mindful of the impact of family dynamics, relational stress, and long-held patterns of survival.

You don’t need to be in crisis to seek support — just ready for something to feel different.

Strength, to me, is not about pushing harder. It is about learning to stay present, regulated, and connected — even when life feels uncertain.

Resources & Reflections

Beyond one-to-one counselling, I share reflections, resources, and educational material focused on emotional awareness, resilience, and the human experience.

This may include psychoeducation, workshops, or written reflections designed to support insight and integration — both inside and outside the therapy room.
